Defensiveness invites what we don’t want
Vulnerability and openess feels scary. We feel undefended , perhaps at risk of rejection or harm. However the state of defensiveness in itself invites exactly what we don’t want. Defensiveness pushes people away, because it creates rejection. Defensiveness incites anger in others, therefore it creates attack.
Vulnerability opens us to love
Only when we are prepared to truly be open and vulnerable, will we start to create the space for love to flood in. It is possible even if another is defensive or attacking to remain open, this has the greatest possibility of allowing love.
Vulnerability only exists when we sit in identity. Once we rest into presence. We recognize the truth of what we are is completely invulnerable, entirely safe, whole, infinite, unconditional love
Letting go of defensiveness, allowing openess and vulnerability, enables love to come flooding in. Mia
